Find and report on fall foliage in your region! Yankee Magazine‘s Leaf Peepr app helps fall-foliage fans find and report on the best and brightest colors in the United States. Make foliage reports by posting photos, writing comments, and rating foliage status for your location. The current foliage color is determined by averaging user ratings in a geographic area along with your reports. Use the Foliage Map to find current foliage rated by hundreds of fellow leaf peepers.
Former meteorologist, Jim Salge, returns to Yankee as our foliage blogger and forecaster. He’ll be using his knowledge of weather, geography, and climate to pinpoint the best time to visit the different regions of New England for the best light, atmosphere, and most importantly, color. Be sure to check his blog each week to find out where the color is.
