People dot the long, inviting stretch of sandy beach in Oqunquit.
Contributing photographer Kindra Clineff’s slideshow captures Ogunquit, Maine — the #1 beach town in New England — from both the air and ground. She discovered it was a great walking town and found it much easier to get around on foot. The aerial photographs she shot from a helicopter gave her a real appreciation for for the beauty of this vast stretch of beach. Please enjoy some of our favorite shots from her travels.

My husband and I stayed in Ogunquit years ago at the Dunes in a cute cottage that overlooked the water inlet that led to the beach. This vacation was one of our favorites…A beautiful place to visit with all the shops, and restaurants..it really offers the vacationer a lot.
Evocative photography – lovely!
Our favorite vacation spot. We go there every June for the Chamber Music Festival. Love that beach!
