The Daily Dish is a radio/Web series featuring the talents of three celebrity chefs — Ming Tsai, Lidia Bastianich, and Annie B. Copps. The Daily Dish radio segments air daily on WGBH and are also featured on’s Food & Wine section, where complete recipes are available.

The Daily Dish entices WGBH listeners to cook, as the chefs describe tantalizing, exceptional fare and offer corresponding recipes.

Featured Chefs

Annie B. Copps — Food Writer

Annie is the former food editor for Yankee Magazine. She appears frequently as a guest on NBC’s Today show and other TV and radio shows, including WGBH’s The Daily Dish and WBZ’s Connoisseurs’ Corner. She also served as food editor of Boston Magazine and features editor of Concierge and was also widely known for her work as the host of WBZ radio’s Connoisseurs’ Corner and WTKK’s Table Talk with Annie Copps. As a television producer, she made her mark with two popular PBS series, Cooking with Todd English and Julia Child’s Kitchen — where she was an assistant to the legendary grande dame of French cuisine. Before beginning her media career, Annie honed her skills as a cook at several notable Boston-area restaurants, including Olives, Jasper’s, The Harvest, and Michela’s.

Mind Tsai — Simply Ming

Ming Tsai is the host and executive producer of the public television series Simply Ming. Each week, Simply Ming brings mouthwatering recipes into homes across the country. Flavor abounds in recipes inspired by the combination of Eastern and Western ingredients, such as coconut milk and cranberries, and panko and Dijon. Ming is also joined by chefs from around the globe, who cook with him in his Boston-area studio.

Lidia Bastianich — Lidia’s Italy

Journey through Italy with chef Lidia Bastianich and venture into food markets, fishing villages, and farms as she searches for the most succulent fish and forages for the perfect truffle. Then, return to Lidia’s familiar kitchen to prepare a sumptuous meal as you, the viewer, cook along with her.
