That’s the question we posed to readers in our September/October 75th anniversary issue. From eating apple pie with a slice of cheddar to braving Maine’s chilly Atlantic in Penobscot Bay, we offered up the 75 Things Every New Englander Should Do. Many of you responded. But one of our favorites came from Linda in Norwich, Connecticut, who blogged about the story and just how many of the 75 Things she’s done. Keep up the great work, Linda.

Wow, thank you so much for the link and the compliment! It is such an honor to be mentioned on YankeeMagazine.com simply for taking your great advice when it came to planning a fall foliage vacation in New Hampshire and Maine. With any luck, I’ll be able to get to even more places next year and share some more pictures on my blog. Thank you again!

Linda’s blog is consistently well-written, and educational in a way that is entertaining. Her posts make me want to learn more about the history of the places she visits and photographs.
She would be a great guest-contributor to Yankee Magazine.

Linda brilliantly combines her great photography with her love of history and all things New England, with a special soft spot for trains, covered bridges and light houses! Her travel posts always leave me longing to be living in New England again!
