Yankee Magazine’s Best New England Recipes: Homemade Favorites for Every Season is a finalist for “Ancillary Publication 2″ which judges supplements or spinoffs that carry the title or logo of the existing city or regional magazine based on the quality and creativity of their editorial and design. Other finalists include: Boston Magazine’s Boston Home, Chicago Magazine’s Chicago Home + Garden, D Magazine’s D CEO: January/February, and Washingtonian’s Washingtonian Bride & Groom: Winter/Spring.
More than 90 judges, including representatives from publications such as Better Homes and Gardens, Bon Appétit, Budget Travel, ESPN The Magazine, Esquire, Food Network Magazine, GQ, Men’s Journal, Men’s Health, National Geographic, Outside, People, Popular Science, Rolling Stone, Runner’s World, Sports Illustrated, Taste of Home, The Atlantic, Vanity Fair and Whole Living as well as journalism professors from the Missouri School of Journalism, selected the finalists.
