Yankee Magazine Names Local Massachusetts Establishments to 2014 “Editors’ Choice” List

AUGUST 29–31: BOSTON, St. Anthony’s Feast. Stroll the colorfully decorated streets of the North End while sampling delectable Italian fare offered by nearly 100 pushcart vendors: sausage (with peppers and onions), quahogs, calamari, pizza, pasta, and, of course zeppole, cannoli, and gelato, to name a few items. Parades, strolling singers, live entertainment, contests, and more.

AUGUST 29–SEPTEMBER 1: NORTHAMPTON, 3 County Fair. The City’s fairground plays host to all you’ve come to expect from an agricultural fair: 4-H livestock shows, a dog show, tractor pull, monster trucks, midway rides, and irresistible food, plus music, magic, and more.
