Safely Clean Your TV Screen

Safely Clean Your TV Screen
0 votes, 0.00 avg. rating (0% score)

Before you clean your TV screen, turn off the set and wait till it’s cool. If you don’t, the act of wiping the screen can cause static buildup that will discharge back to your TV, resulting in severe damage. Even if the set is off, don’t touch the controls immediately after cleaning your set. Instead, touch a grounded item first to release any static charge.

To prevent dirt from building up on the glass and dimming the picture, clean your TV screen often with a soft cloth or a sheet of fabric softener that’s been through the dryer. Never use any other liquid cleaner or an aerosol product to clean your screen. Excess moisture can get inside and damage sensitive electronic parts.
