I love the older covers with paintings—the newer covers just don’t seem to reflect the celebration of family and Christmas like the older versions.

  17. Estelle Cade December 13, 2012 at 12:35 pm #

I really like the older covers – before Yankee became so”sophisticated”. I especially like the 1960 cover because I think it’s done by Maxwell Mays, an illustrator Yankee frequently featured on other covers.

Keep up the good work!

I like the old style format better. It always set it apart from other magazines. I know that it must be cost prohibitive, but I would like a magazine a month as it was published before. I truly can’t get enough of this magazine. I try not to read it all at once so that I have more of it to savor, but would love to have a magazine a month to enjoy. I don’t like waiting so long for the next issue.

  30. Debra McIntosh December 15, 2012 at 5:34 pm #

My favorite covers were 1991 and 2007. They both were so pretty. I loved the old format and size so much more than now. I could tuck it into my purse and always had something to read.
