The Penobscot Marine Museum in Searsport, Maine, houses an extensive collection of archival photographs of Maine from the late nineteenth to the mid-twentieth century.  From intimate family collections to works from individual professional photographers, all have a connection to the Penobscot Bay region in terms of subject or contributor.  The following slideshow represents a small sampling of the work in their collections.
