Polly Bannister

Polly Bannister, senior editor, home and garden, of Yankee Magazine:

Polly has been a Yankee editor and a favorite of readers for more than 20 years. She brings a deep appreciation of architecture, furnishings, design, antiques, fine art, crafts, and cooking to her work.

Throughout her travels she has cultivated an extensive network of inside sources, including craftsmen and other experts, who help her discover the practical information and inspiring features that make homes in New England unique.

Polly has also edited two cookbooks and four travel books. She is continually inspired by New England's beautiful and diverse landscape -- from cranberry bogs, sandy beaches, and granite-topped mountains to thriving cities, white clapboard houses on village greens, and red-brick mill towns.
