Amy Traverso, senior editor, lifestyle of Yankee Magazine:

In this newly created position, Amy oversees Yankee's Food and Home & Garden departments and contributes articles to the magazine. Previously, she served as Yankee's food editor from 2002 to 2005. In September of 2011, W.W. Norton & Company published Traverso's Apple Lover's Cookbook, the lead book in the publisher's fall 2011 catalogue. Traverso has written for publications such as Salon.com, Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, and the Boston Globe, among others. She served as food editor at Boston Magazine from 2007 to 2009 and as a contributing editor to the magazine since 2009. She was Sunset Magazine's associate food editor from 2005 to 2007, where she reported on food and restaurant trends and wrote travel features.
