With this list of the best outlet shopping in New England, you can meet all your spring shopping needs in one stop, while scoring the best bargains around. Kittery Outlets — Kittery, ME
Everybody knows about L.L. Bean and Freeport. But if you’re in the mood for a shorter drive, check out Kittery’s 120-plus brand-name designer outlets just over the border from New Hampshire. Drive Route 1 from outlet to outlet to shop favorites such as Gap, Eddie Bauer, Nautica, Banana Republic, and Crate & Barrel. Don’t miss the Kittery Trading Post (it’s hard to miss, really), with three floors of outdoor recreational equipment, clothing, and footwear.

Lee Premium Outlets — Lee, MA
Jones New York, Tommy Hilfiger, Izod, Under Armour, and specialty food makers Harry and David are just a few of the 60 stores that the Berkshires can boast. Many shoppers flock toward the great savings in this center, which is located an hour’s drive from Hartford and two hours from Boston.

Manchester Designer Outlets — Manchester, VT
In beautiful southern Vermont, the Manchester outlets offers desirable outlet shopping in a classic New England village setting. Browse premium clothing brands like Armani and Michael Kors, housewares from Depot 62 and Yves Delorme, plus an eclectic range of eateries from Ben & Jerry’s to Mexican and sushi.

Merrimack Premium Outlets — Merrimack, NH
A recent addition to the New England outlet scene, the 100 stores at the tax-free Merrimack Outlets include Ann Taylor, Bloomingdale’s, Talbot’s, Levi’s, and Vineyard Vines. Kitchen fans will love visiting Le Creuset, and if your thing is eating rather than cooking, there are 8 dining spots to take a break, plus a children’s playground.

Tanger Outlet Center -Tilton, NH
Big names such as Rue21, Jones New York, Van Heusen, and Coach; foot-wear selections such as Bass and Skechers; and housewares gems like Kitchen Collection make this an outlet center not to miss in the tax-free New Hampshire Lakes Region.

Wrentham Village Premium Outlets — Wrentham, MA
Although this outlet center is not really in Rhode Island, it might as well be, because it’s right on the border. Styled to look like a New England village, the center’s 170 outlet stores offer the cream of the crop, while landscaped courtyards provide places to rest weary feet (there’s New Balance and Nine West to cure that ailment, too). Save 25 to 65 percent at stores such as Burberry, Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Restoration Hardware, and Williams-Sonoma.
