The collection at the Farnsworth Museum of Art sounds wonderful. From the description of the town as well, it seems like the perfect pairing of charming New England and inspiring culture.

I am looking forward to traveling throughout the Northeast with my little girl, introducing her to the world of art and finding gems such as Rockland. I may be getting a head of myself as she is only 8 months old, but I'm still hopeful that she will enjoy it as much as I do!

Thanks for the insight on the Farnsworth!

Kelly, If you go to Rockland be sure to stop in at the Caldbeck Gallery across the side street from the Farsnworth. There is also a wonderful little book store/coffee shop a bpock from the museum on Main Street and one of the best restaurants in the state -- Primo -- is also located in Rockland. best, Ed
