Ed,
Thanks for posting about this. I am going to Santa Fe in September to take a workshop from one of the bloggers. I am really looking forward to seeing the exhibit at PMA as a way of acquainting myself with O'Keefe.

Mary, There has historically been a lot of artistic traffic back and forth between New Mexico and New England. A lot to see in Santa Fe and Taos. I did an article on Maine artists in New Mexico years and years ago. The one thing that sticks out in my mind is that one painter who had moved there told me the difference between the New England and New Mexico art scenes was that in New England people tended to think that fine art should be in a museum and that in New Mexico they bought it. Enjoy your trip. Ed

I've been slow to visit your blog recently, but when I came here this morning to catch up this posting caught my eye! Georgia O'Keefe has always been a source of inspiration for me. I can't remember how I was first introduced to her, but from pre-teen years on, posters of her work always graced my wall. Out of all of my beloved books, one that combined her pieces with photographs from Stieglitz is my absolute favorite.... so in short.... THANKS so much, Ed, for bringing this show to my attention! I will start planning a trip to see it for myself! Kelly
