<description>A woman my age enjoys eating ethnic foods, not only for the flavors, but the memories
of earlier years while growing up in Portugese, Italian, French and Irish nationalities. These
families migrated into our small community and &quot;shared&quot;. My friends were raised in
cultures that were simple but abundant in love and good food and welcomed everyone into
their homes. Gone are the days when you could enjoy a &quot;pot luck supper&quot; at church. Life
is so hectic that before they know it it's too late. Thank you and God Bless.

<description>I agree... it's really profound how much flavors and aromas conjure up memories. I love nothing more than to be with family and friends--young and old--and COOK!

Thank you for taking the time to comment.
