Welcome home Mayday! I had a cat once, Sasha, who had me a to herself for years and when I introduced a new kitten, Erin Murphy she was not at all pleased. One night she was chased off the bed by the bouncy new kitten, her response was a growl of indignation and pronounced (however fake) limp. Eventually they became friends but not without a lot of indignation by Sasha. Glad that all is well now for the three of you.

Boy do you ever have a classic case of mothers guilt, whether it is bringing home a new baby or a new puppy the feelings are the SAME!!!! In the end, it is just another bigger, happy family as you are seeing first hand. I am a big fan of your writings - it is certainly the first thing I read when I receive Yankee magazine - you are very talented!!! Have fun with your growing family.
