It's in some bookstores but mostly available through the website. As for the kefir, look in the natural foods section at your supermarket. Or ask them about it. There are several brands. Be sure to buy the plain, not sweetened or flavored. Otherwise, buttermilk is fine (I actually find buttermilk harder to find that kefir!). Happy cooking!
