I guess Yankee readers are curious about things. The magazine just brings out the best of New Enland. That's why I gave my sister who moved out to Odessa, Texas, a subscription for Christmas. She gets to keep in touch with her New England roots and she reads it cover to cover like I do. Thanks, Yankee.

During a period of austerity I cut subscriptions to several magazines, yours included. I have missed Yankee sadly since doing do. I had thought that since I now live back home in Nova Scotia I didn't need my dose of Yankee Downeast quirkiness. I was wrong. I recently re-subscribed and just last week picked up January 2009 Yankee at the Post Office. It was like welcoming a longlost friend back into my home. Thanks for staying true to your message. If you can find a copy, check your sister magazine on this side of the border - Saltscapes magazine. Another keeper.
