            <description>Since we discovered Honey Crisp Apples nothing can hold a candle to them!  They are always, crunchy,  juicy and delicious!  We use them in salads, and desserts, but the best way for us is to bite into a whole, fresh one!</description>

            <description>We worked in the orchards around Lyndeborough, NH in the 60's and the hands down favorite was and still is Macintosh.  Eaten fresh, baked in pies, made into applesauce and any other apple recipe.  I agree it is at its best with a slab of sharp Vt. Cheddar cheese, but  I won&quot;t refuse it no matter what way you prepare it.</description>

            <description>There is nothing like a fresh Mac...but since I moved to CA I can't find any that have that signature &quot;snap&quot; with the juice running down your chin!  They arrive old and mealy so the local Californians  don't know what I see in Macintosh apples.  You have to pick them off the tree in New England to truly appreciate their full magnificence! </description>
