Hi Edie-
The man you traveled north with was my grandfather, Floyd H. Smith. Yes, many people truly loved his Wilderness Honey. Grampa always said the bees who fed on wildflowers made the best honey, and he had a multitude of customers (including me!) who would agree wholeheartedly. You were fortunate to have the opportunity to see his "camp" in Maine near N.E.Carry. I know he truly loved the land, and the beekeeping was a real passion. I was so pleased to see you remembered your trip with Grampa, as he talked fondly of his trip with you in years past. Grampa died in 1993 after a long battle with cancer. Thank you for keeping his memory alive!
