I was intrigued by the idea of making my own cheese, but wasn't sure about the recipes. A book that I am especially fond of is Nigel Slater's Kitchen Diaries. Makes one want to get cooking right away, and the end result is always yummy. I love his casual, down-to-earth approach to food, no unnecessary fuss. I also like James Martin's Desserts.
