This doggy bed looks cute and comfy, not that your pet would really notice, but I would like to know how can the bedding be washed as you use buckwheat hulls for the 'stuffing' Having had the experience with soba kowa pillows, I know they are difficult to keep fresh & clean, and cannot be washed. Wouldn't something like fiberfill or left over quilt batting be logical alternatives as they're both washable? Also these fabrics are more available to any dog lover and crafty person. The drawer is a clever recycling idea. Thanks for your considerations, F.
