I think Bob Kays, the owner of the Prospector East Saloon in Marlboro, MA is truly an angel. Anytime anyone in our community gets stricken with illness or death and is in need of help Bob Kays is always there to take the reigns of fundraisers or anything he can help with. He is excellent at organizing everything and has so many people willing to help. We all know if ourselves or someone we love is in need Bob Kays would be the first one on hand to help. He has several times been awarded humanitarian awards in our area but I think its time New England recognizes what he does...

I too would like to nominate Bob Kays as an Angel. I meet Bob approximately 6 years ago.
Bob is the Chairman and moving force behind, The Mayors Charity Ball, The Evening of Giving, The Marlborough Relay for Life which went from $35K and in two short years of heading up the Relay increased the proceeds to over $100K under his leadership, The Marlborough Chamber annual cookout is the largest money raiser. This is all on donated time. He\'s a true Angel

Denise Carpenter is not just one woman in our small, close-knit community of West Newfield, Maine. She is many women: a nurse by avocation who also takes care of her mother, who has been stricken with Alzheimer\'s disease and lives with her; one of the local people who has organized a local senior lunch for older residents who are housebound; a farmer who is a key organizer of our local farmers market/cooperative; a volunteer with Newfield\'s active historical society. Denise is a tireless volunteer who refuses to be compensated for all she does for the community of West Newfield.I know many in my town would agree that she deserves recognition for her tireless service. Without people like her, who are willing to give so much so selflessly, small towns like our would be hard-pressed to survive.

A tireless angel is the only way to describe Bob Kays, owner of the Prospector East Saloon in Marlborough, MA. We live in a community where many come to the aid and assistance of others in need, but it is not done without the leadership, focus and love that Bob brings to the table. Whether is it a well known and/or publicized event like the Mayor\'s Ball and Evening of Giving, or a quieter, perhaps more sorrowful event, like the loss of a family member or a family in hard economic times .... Bob always comes to the rescue, either by rallying the troops or doing it on his own ... providing the help, guideance, clarity and love that is needed by so many, to so many. Our entire community considers him a friend and appreciates all of his acts of kindness. A true angel among us.
