My husband and I spent two days here on a romantic getaway and we loved the Madison Beach Hotel and Wharf Restaurant! The rooms were cozy and quaint, very reminiscent of an historical beach hotel with a wrought iron bed and simple antique furnishings. Our room included a private deck overlooking the beach and Long Island Sound. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed both lunch and dinner at the restaurant but the continental breakfast was just the "usual" so we had breakfast at a local diner. The surrounding area of Madison is filled with beautiful homes overlooking the water and we found it enjoyable to walk in the neighborhood and take in the seaside architecture and gardens. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious, satisfying meal. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who comes for the view and destination rather than a luxury room.
