I spent many a season filling-in for one of my Maine managers so he could visit his daughter and other \"flat-landers\" as we Bostonians were known as, and I always felt welcomed by the folks in Rangeley. Every day I was warmly greeted by the town folk and was constantly asked if I needed a place to stay or get lunch or dinner. The people are genuine and nice.
