If someone prints just the recipe out and takes it home, there is no mention in the recipe about why one needs 3 cups of brown rice. Fortunately, I was able to remember where I found this recipe and come back to read the article that goes with it. But since I pull recipes from many places, that wouldn't always be the case. Might need to go in and update this recipe so that it indicates WHEN to add the 3 cups of cooked brown rice.

Looking forward to trying this recipe, now that I know the brown rice goes in the peppers.

I am a distant cousin of Abraham Lincoln - 2nd cousin, 7 times removed - as our family descended from Virginia John Lincoln of Harrisonburg, Va., Abraham's great grandfather. A friend who is a Lincoln buff and Civil War buff has found this link for me of Hildene. We knew OF it but never saw a picture or knew much about it. We would like to plan a trip to stay at the Equinox and tour Hildene. Can you send me any literature (brochures, etc) regarding either?

We spend every July 3rd on the Grafton Town Common. The Grafton Lions Club has sponsored, for the past 30 plus years, a free concert. They put up a tent for the orchestra on the 2nd and people come and put their chairs out on the common. When they return on the following evening not a single chair has disappeared. They have different bands but this year will be the 215th Army National Guard Concert Band from Fall River. There is something very special about listening to a concert under the massive trees and knowing that it just doesn't get any better than that.
