Yankee Names "The Best 5 New England Diners"
Dublin, New Hampshire (April 2008)--For its May/June Special 2008 Travel Issue, Yankee Magazine asked Richard Gutman, curator of the Culinary Arts Museum at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, and author of three books on the history of diners, to name the top five diners in New England -- a difficult task, considering that there are more than 300 diners just in Massachusetts.
In each issue, Yankee names "The Best 5" in different categories. The next issue, July/August, will recognize the best five ice-cream stands for summer in New England.
