Photos of Barack Obama in New Hampshire Featured in Yankee Magazine

by Heather Atwell

Dublin, New Hampshire (February 2009)--In his own words, photographer Tim Llewellyn shares his photos and his experiences as President Barack Obama's personal campaign photographer in New Hampshire in Yankee Magazine's March/April issue, on newsstands March 3, 2009.

"Not long ago, Tim came to Yankee, portfolio in hand," says editor Mel Allen. "Regardless of anyone's political persuasion, we felt that Tim's story has become part of our national history."

Tim had what he calls "the best seat in the house" as he followed Barack Obama around New Hampshire.

"I know that I was a part of history, or at least got to stand onstage as it unfolded," he writes. "I was with him when he signed the official registry as a candidate in the nation's first primary, I was with him when the crowds started to line up around the block to hear him speak, I was there as rooms overflowed with the crowd, and I was there when he gave his now-historic ?Yes We Can' speech."
