Yankee Announces Promotions
Dublin, New Hampshire (March 31, 2008)--Yankee Publishing Inc. (YPI) is proud to announce the recent promotions of Eileen Terrill to managing editor for Yankee Magazine and David Ziarnowski to production director.
As managing editor, Terrill is responsible for the flow and accuracy of editorial copy for Yankee Magazine and its related print and Web products and materials, as well as marketing and advertorial copy. She also serves as editorial liaison, maintaining communication and flow of materials between the editorial department and Yankee's art, production, new media, marketing, consumer marketing, and advertising departments.
Prior to joining Yankee in 2004 as an associate copy editor and fact checker, she was an editor with various consumer and trade high-tech publications at IDG/Peterborough and Helmers Publishing. A former teacher and social worker, she has also edited and written for Cobblestone Publishing Company's middle-school history and world-cultures magazines. Terrill earned a BA in biology and psychology from Williams College and an MA in Liberal Studies/science from Wesleyan University. She lives with her husband, Daniel Sullivan, in Bennington and has been a resident of the Monadnock area since 1982.
As production director, Ziarnowski directs YPI's production operations for advertising, marketing, consumer marketing, and other YPI products, with an emphasis on Yankee Magazine branded products. He also serves as the production department's liaison with the art, editorial, and advertising departments. His career has spanned all aspects of print production, including typesetting, graphic design, technical art, and production direction, as well as marketing.
He was hired by YPI in May 1994 as a senior production artist and has since served as production manager. Ziarnowski attended Temple University and the University of Arizona at Tucson. He lives in Newmarket with his wife, Linda, and their two children.
