Nature, Art, and Spirit in the life and work of Jonathan Fisher will be the subject of this symposium. A lecture on the subject by Rev. Rob McCall will open a conversation with artists, naturalists and theologians moderated by Dr. Wallace Alston, Jr. The symposium will begin with an introduction to Fisher, one of the most important artists, naturalists, and theologians in early Maine history, and it will end in the afternoon with a tour of the historic Fisher House. This event is co-sponsored by The BTS Center (formally known as the Bangor Theological Seminary) and Jonathan Fisher House Memorial.
