The Voysey Inheritance A dark comedy by Harley Granville-Barker Edward Voysey, an idealistic young lawyer, is given a partnership in his family’s estates and trusts law firm, only to discover that his beloved father is an early 20th century Bernie Madoff. Populated by the Voysey family, a willful collection of eccentrics worthy of Shaw or Oscar Wilde, The Voysey Inheritance is a shrewd, elegant comedy, which questions the value of ordinary morality in the making of money.
