They have a great menu which they change with the seasons and always use the VERY BEST fresh ingredients. We never miss going there on our regular visits to Boston.
Every turkey day we go with another couple to a new Massachussetts restaurant. We've discovered several very good ones - Colonial Inn in Concord is our favorite, followed closely by The Wayside Inn in Sudbury, the Salem Cross Inn out west of us, and have tried a few others. I'm not finding much on the internet about others to try this year. Any suggestions? We cannot imagine one being any better than the Colonial Inn, but we're game for ones that come highly recommended! Let me add we have no objection to driving a bit - anywhere in central/eastern Massachussetts, northern RI or CT, or southern NH might work! And if you have recommendations, are those restaurants hard to get reservations for on turkey day???

Hi Everyone,
In 2 weeks ( I can't wait! ) I'll be travelling to Camden, Rockland area as well as Acadia, and since I absolutely love blueberry pancakes, I thought I'd pose the question. Where can I get the best blueberry pancakes? A long time ago, while visiting Acadia, someone reccommended Jordan's in Bar Harbor. A suggestion well taken, one of the best, but that was along time ago. Are they still there? Still good, or other choices? Thanks for all your input and help.

We spent a week exploring mid-coast Maine's seafood places. Just Barb's has to be our number one choice for fried clams and lobster rolls. (We didn't have room for pie.) It doesn't have a view but seems to be popular with locals. It's a small restaurant by the side of Rt 1 in an area where restaurants are a little scarce. We had more expensive lobster rolls and fried clams with better views but other places lacked the personal service and good list of pies. Just Barb's has a good, general menu not just seafood. We might not have stopped except we were hungry and it looked decent.

They have innovative, creative, and healthy vegeterian offerings. They have four salads, tow special salads each day. They also have two sandwiches on the menu, at least four special vegetarain sadwiches daily, and all of the soups are made with a vegetable stock. They also have four vegetarian sides each day. It is so refreshing to go out, and eat something besides pasta, or salads. Thank you. They also offer vegetarian take home gourmet heat and serve prepared meals.

Fairly new place in Concord, NH-- right on Main Street. There was a recent review in the Union Leader. Finally! Concord has a good restaurant! It's represented as small plates, which means make sure you order an appetizer and you will have room for dessert. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. My favorite? The Cod cake appetizer with a touch of mustard and bacon. Well worth a try if you are in the area.

I was checking out the Dining listings for Plymouth in the Travel section and only found 3 listings. I wanted to let other readers know about one of my favorite spots for casual dining with great food - the Run of the Mill Tavern. I love their fish and chips, but everything on the menu is good. I've never had a bad meal there and the wait staff is pleasant, too.
The "Mill" is located at Jenney Grist Mill and Pond so it's also a great place to visit.
