HOW TO ENTER: Submit a "Hidden Finds of New Hampshire" at www.yankeemagazine.com/hiddenfinds . You must provide all information marked required to be eligible to win, including location recommendation (“hidden find”). Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM (EST) on January 22, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (EST) on July 9, 2008 ("Promotion Period"). Limit one entry per person/per “hidden find”.  Entering the same “hidden find” per person does not increase your chances of winning. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account. Use of automated devices not valid for entry. Entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Entries are subject to approval by the Sponsors: Yankee Publishing and New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism Development.  Sponsors reserve the right to remove entries. 

ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open to individuals 18 years of age and older as of January 22, 2008 and who are legal residents of the 50 United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and District of Columbia. Sweepstakes void in Puerto Rico and wherever prohibited by law. Employees of Yankee Publishing Inc., and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, dealers, or retailers, prize donors, advertising, production, and promotion agencies, and the immediate families and members of the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

PRIZES: One (1) prize supplied by Yankee Publishing Inc. and its business partner New Hampshire Department of Travel and Tourism Division. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of Prize: $500. All taxes, incidentals, and other expenses associated with prizes and not specified herein are the winner’s sole responsibility. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Winner may not substitute or transfer prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value in the event prize is unavailable. Prize is guaranteed to be awarded, assuming sufficient number of eligible entries. Limit one prize per person/household.

SELECTION OF WINNER: A random drawing for a semifinalist will be conducted on the week following the preceding month.  One semifinalist will be selected for each month of the program from the entries submitted up to the point of drawing.  All entries not yet chosen as a semifinalist during previous months are eligible to be chosen as a semifinalist. One final winner will be selected in a drawing from all six previously selected semifinalists. A random drawing for the final winner will be conducted on the week following the end of the Promotion Period. The drawing will be conducted by a representative from Yankee Publishing, Inc., whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. The Winner will be notified by mail. If any prize notification letter or prize is returned as undeliverable, it will result in disqualification, and the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winners' names, prize won, hometowns, and likenesses for online posting and/or any advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

GENERAL: This Sweepstakes is void outside the United States and where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. This Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Massachusetts. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States of America. Sponsor and judges not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed, or misdirected entries, email or communications, for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Further, Sponsor and judges not responsible for electronic communications which are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail messages. The use of automated software or computer programs to register or to enter the Sweepstakes is prohibited and any individual who uses or attempts to use such methods to register or to enter will be disqualified. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system or other equipment resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with, this Sweepstakes, and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes should any virus, bug, technical failures, unauthorized human intervention, war, terrorism, disaster, fire, strikes, civil disorder, or other causes beyond Sponsor's control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In the event of any such cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice will be posted and winners will be selected from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to such time. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant (and all of his or her Sweepstakes entries) from this Sweepstakes or any other promotion conducted now or in the future by Sponsor or any of its affiliates if he tampers with the entry process or if his or her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to correct clerical or typographical errors in promotional materials. By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges and warrants that s/he is eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. Further, by participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to release Sponsor, its directors, employees, officers, and agents, including without limitation, its advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with (i) the Sweepstakes, (ii) the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of any prize, or (iii) his/her participation in any prize-related activity.
