As a native of Hartford, I was pleased to see such an upbeat article on the city. It is looking up again after its decline. I must, however, make a correction. The Wadsworth Atheneum is not one of the oldest art museums -- it is the oldest public art museum in America. It was founded in 1842 by Daniel Wadsworth, making it older than New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art and Boston's Museum of Fine Arts by 30 years. Nature's Gifts
I was very disturbed by the article entitled "Unbearable," which was printed in your June 2006 issue. I was shocked to read that such inhumane treatment of our nation's beautiful black bears was permissible in the state of Maine. Chile Cream Pie?
I just moved from my home of 41 years in North Andover, Massachusetts, to New Mexico. Thank you so much for posting recipes online! Now I can make my favorite treat -- Boston Cream Pie.
