SLIDE SHOW: Marissa's Bunny

Fairfax is a bunny on a mission. For the past several months he's been accompanying Yankee writers on their travels helping to raise awareness of infantile spasms, a form of childhood epilepsy.

Click on the video below to see where this bunny wound up and learn more about the little girl whose love has sent him around the world.

Visit www.marissasbunny.com to see more photos from the bunny's visit to Yankee and from all his other adventures around the globe.

Thank you, Yankee Magazine, for bringing this issue to the fore. Such a heavy burden for someone so defenseless, and Mike and the rest of the family have been incredible in working through everything involved with infantile spasms, including medical bills and treatments, insurance, and raising a child under these conditions. That Mike's family has also come up with the traveling bunny to raise awareness, on top of every other concern is simply amazing, and my hat's off to Yankee Magazine for carrying this torch forward

Justin God Bless you all. Marrisa's Bunny is a great way to spread the word about this disease. You know the Kentucky Derby is coming up in a few weeks, why don't you send one to Channel 32 here in Louisville with the story about Marrisa. Perhaps the could feature her story Derby Day, and if not Derby Day, just do a story about her on the news one day. That would give a lot of coverage to the Bunny, and get the word out to a lot more people and mayby some other children could be helped also. Again God Bless you all for what you are going through, and doing for other children. You all are in my Prayers and will ask for Prayers for you all at the church my nephew attends.

Vickey, thank you for your kind note and your excellent suggestion. We don't send out the bunnies ourselves, though, so you should get in touch with the people at www.marissasbunny.com. Their email address is marissasbunny@gmail.com. I'm sure they would love to hear from you.
