That was fun to watch! It was very ?High Techie? too. Thanks for posting that video Mel. This is the reason that I visit the Yankee Magazine website, daily; there is always something interesting, informative and entertaining to read/watch here.

Oh; I love the Puffins. They are so adorable. And the moose; wow. I have lived in the South all my life, but I think New England is absolutely beautiful. Wonderful story about the whales, too; what I wouldn't give to see one actually in the water. How exciting is that! Thank you for your wonderful video.

I reallywait for my yankee magazine, i read everything in it,go to the computor and get all the things you comment on and then turn to the ads and look at their websites. i am addicted to you, winter and summer. A cup of tea and you is a snug way to be in the winter and you and a cool drink on the porch i the summer is the best. I do go to your website very often to see what new things you have for me.Mel Allen is doing a nice job in expanding your world. i guess your creativity is your long suit and the good writing keeps us interested. i like learning about the people of New Englandthank you...jean davis,Sea Cliff

Great story. Just got back from a cruise to New England and the maritimes. I went whale watching out of Bar Harbor but after two days of rough weather, no whales were found. I had fun anyway, seeing seals on Mt. Desert Rock, a peregrine falcon, and greater shearwaters. There's no such thing as a bad whale watching trip. If you don't see whales, you'll still see other wildlife.
