Crafts: Easter Table
by Beth Wickwire
This decorating idea for your Easter table uses new or vintage materials and your choice of eggs, the symbol of spring. Suggestions include quail eggs, foil-wrapped chocolate eggs, or even egg-shaped soaps.
1. Place a tartlet mold of your choosing (either new or vintage) on each plate. Add a fabric doily or a coaster beneath it to create a layering effect.
2. Fill with paper Easter grass or curly "Spanish moss" raffia to create a little "bird's nest."
3. Place blown eggs in a sweet cluster of three per nest. (For tips on preparing empty eggshells for craft projects, go to: wikihow.com/Blow-Out-Eggs) Or for variety, use quail eggs, foil-wrapped chocolate eggs, or even egg-shaped soaps.
4. Cover it with a mini bell jar if you like.
