"Reverent is how I feel in graveyards. Respectful, seeing gravestones in a row, families still held together by stone walls and wrought-iron fencing. First I framed the image with the gravestones and mountains, but the fencing seemed so important--families being protected from ... what now? Civilization, weather, animals, photographers ...?"
