I've driven by it so many times in my 65 years of life. Most people likely would not even pay it any attention. Each time I pass, I look that way, often slowing down to get a good look, knowing that each time will present a different view. It is my childhood, my place of refuge in my mind. Occasionally, especially in my older age, I'll stop, get out, and just look, remembering old times, times gone by, people gone by. I love the streams, ponds, and countryside of my youth, and those places now bring a peace I don't find anywhere else on earth.
