The loon and all her glory reminds me of Maine! My parents purchased a cottage on Bear Pond, in Hartford Maine in the 60’s. How fortunate for us that during the summer we got to hear the loons on the lake, their sound would be carried by the water for all to hear. Nature’s alarm clock! And to see the chicks under the wings of the females was just an added bonus! Peace and tranquility ! Maine, “The way life should be”!
