Yield: 1 serving per bag
Fun and easy way for everyone to mix omelet the way they like. Even the kids can help prepare their own!Ingredients:
Fresh Eggs (2 per omelet)Chopped cooked meat (ham, sausage, bacon etc.)
Chopped bell pepper
Chopped onion
Shredded Cheese
Quart size freezer bag
Instructions:
Bring water to boil in large pot.Crack 2 eggs into quart-size freezer bag. Add 1 to 1-1/2 tablespoons of meat, peppers, onions and cheese to bag and zip shut. Squish bag with fingers until mixed well. Place in boiling water for 4 to 8 minutes or until eggs are cooked. Omelet will roll out of bag onto plate.
Clean up is a breeze and works great when camping out. To make it easier for kids to fill their own place bag in coffee cup first.

Makes a great sandwich when put on toast! Great recipe but even better with herbs such as basil or thyme added to it. Interesting cooking method but fun to do.
Very good basic omelet.
