Yield: Serves 30.

A rich, creamy punch, popular in Newport, Rhode Island.

Ingredients:

  • 2 quarts chilled coffee, instant or regular, frozen in ice-cube trays and crushed
  • 2 quarts vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/2 cup Jamaican rum

Instructions:

Just before serving combine crushed coffee ice cubes, ice cream, and rum in punch bowl. Stir until most of the ice has blended into the ice cream and rum.
