Banana Bread (Healthy)
Yield: Serves 4
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup Sugar in the Raw
- 1 egg (Egg Subsitute)
- 1 cup blended flour (whole wheat & white
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 cup chopped english walnuts
Instructions:Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Place parchment paper in pie pan
In large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In another bowl, mash bananas, stir in egg, and sugar. Stir in the flour mixture and mix until just combined, then fold in the chopped nuts. Pour batter into pie pan.
Bake at 350 for 55 to 60 minutes or until bread tests done. Remove from oven and cool on rack for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely.
