The secret to this recipe is the sorghum in the dressing. Golden, sweet sorghum tastes best, if available. Otherwise you may need to adjust the quantity to taste.

- 2 bunches raw broccoli, cut apart
- 1/2 red onion, diced
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 10 to 12 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
Instructions:In a large serving bowl, combine vegetables and raisins.
- 1 cup real mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons golden sorghum
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:Combine dressing ingredients in a jar and shake well (or whisk in a bowl). Pour over salad, and allow to marinate 1 to 3 hours.
Stir in crumbled bacon just before serving.
