Yield: Makes 30-35

"There are many similar recipes for the following cookie-candy concoction) but the Rice Krispies make these unique." --Whalewalk Inn, Eastham, Massachusetts

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup Rice Krispies
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate bits
  • 1/8 cake of paraffin

Instructions:

Mix first 4 ingredients thoroughly, then roll into small balls. Melt chocolate bits and paraffin in the top of a double boiler. Dip balls into chocolate, then place on foil to harden.
