Yield: 3 dozen
Contains no egg and melts in your mouth.Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter1/2 cup Oleo
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon orange juice
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Cream butter, Oleo, sugar and vanilla.
Mix together orange juice and baking soda and add to creamed mixture.
Add flour, salt and cream of tartar.
Roll into small balls. Flatten with glass bottom, dipped in sugar.
Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes until slightly golden brown.
