Buttermilk Pie

I got this recipe from my "93" year old Aunt.Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups sugar1 stick butter, room temperature
4 tablespoons self-rising flour
4 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 9-inch unbaked deep dish pie shell
Instructions:
In a large bowl cream together sugar, butter, flour. Add eggs one at a time mixing well as you go add buttermilk, vanilla extract.Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake for 1-1/2 hours at 325° or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and serve.
