Yield: Makes 1 large ball or 2 small ones

"We serve this at our special Holidays Evening, just before Christmas. The ball tastes better made a day ahead." --Weld Inn, Weld, Maine

Ingredients:

  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced pimiento
  • 1 tablespoon grated onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced green pepper
  • Grated walnuts

Instructions:

Combine all but last ingredient and put into freezer for 20 minutes. Remove, shape into a ball, and roll in grated walnuts. Wrap in plastic wrap and put in refrigerator until ready to use.
