Scald the milk, add sugar and butter, and let cool. Dissolve yeast in warm water; add to milk mixture. Beat in one of the eggs. Sift flour with spices and salt and add to the milk mixture alternating with remaining egg. Fold in raisins. Knead and let rise until almost double. Knead and let rise again, then shape into buns and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
