Yield: 6 to 8 servings
This is a very good recipe. Give it a try. Yum, it's so good.Ingredients:
4 eggs, well beaten2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
4 cups cinnamon swirl rasin bread, cut in small squares
Instructions:
Combine eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon in a bowl and stir together well. Put bread chunks in a well-buttered crockpot. Pour the egg mixture over the bread chunks. Stir together. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 2-1/2 hours. Will be done when knife inserted in middle comes out clean.This recipe was submitted by one of our readers and has not been tested by our food editors.
